Ken J. Feldmann

Ken J. Feldmann, 61, of Swisher, Iowa, died Saturday, August 15, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Swisher American Legion, 68 3rd Street SE, Swisher.

Ken was born May 6, 1965, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Delmar and Mary Lou (Loeffelholz) Feldmann. He graduated from Western Dubuque High School. Ken spent more than 35 years working as a concrete foreman with Bill Lane Construction.

Ken was a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Swisher American Legion Post #671, Swisher Men’s Club, and previously served on the Swisher City Council. Ken was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed and especially enjoyed helping others fix things around their homes. His generosity also extended to his community, and he supported several nonprofit organizations, including WILOS and the American Legion. Ken enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping, cooking for others, grilling, and traveling, including trips to Key West, Florida, and Colorado. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes and Dallas Cowboys fan and also enjoyed watching NASCAR. Ken treasured socializing and spending time with his friends and neighbors. Above all else, Ken cherished the time spent with his family.

Survivors include his children, Colton Feldmann and Caitlin Feldmann; his mother, Mary Lou Feldmann; former wife, Sandra Vaske; his siblings, Kim (Tony) Steciuk, Keith (Valerie) Feldmann, Kris Feldmann, Kraig Feldmann, Katina (Mike) Shaffer, Kory Feldmann (Julie Willenbring), and Kary Feldmann; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Delmar Feldmann.
