Kenneth Beauregard

Kenneth Beauregard, 79, of Monticello, Iowa, formerly of Central City, died Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation services provided by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Central City.
Survivors include his children, Robert (Vanessa) Beauregard of Cedar Rapids, Mark (Dedra) Beauregard of Central City, Diane (Kevin) Kurth of Monticello, and David (Kellie) Beauregard of Glenburn, ND; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Sharon Beauregard.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Betty; son, Russell Beauregard; siblings, Leonard, Wayne and Darrel.
Kenneth was born on March 13, 1934, in Marion, son of Alden and Faye (Long) Beauregard. He married Betty Ann Phillips on March 15, 1952, in Central City. She passed away August 19, 2011. Kenneth worked for 38 years at Longview Fiber Company and also over 45 years he worked as a custodian at the City State Bank.
Memorial fund has been established in his memory.
