Kenneth S. Price, 85, of Coggon, died Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at St. Luke?s Hospital, following a long illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2007, at Troy Mills Christian Church by Rev. James Wolf. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2007, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Central City and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial: Spring Grove Cemetery, rural Coggon.
Survivors include his wife, Nyline of Troy Mills; three daughters, Susan Crawford of Lamont, Peggy Parsons of Cedar Rapids, and Joyce (Dean) Burington of Arlington; four sisters, Alice Akers of Coggon, Wilma (Jerry) Akers of Central City, Edith Covington of Walker, and Doris (Kenneth) Henderson of Anamosa; sister-in-law, Iline Kehrli of Dallas, Texas; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Marion and Bill; and two sisters, Leora and Fern.
Kenneth was born February 10, 1922, the son of Jesse and Lillian (Mote) Price in Coggon. He married Nyline Anderson June 6, 1945, in Springville. He was a lifelong farmer in the Coggon area.
