Kevin Thomas Hahn

Kevin Thomas Hahn, 70, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In agreement with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, located at 1790 14th Street in Marion, where the family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass time. Rev. Emmanuel Fenelus will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family.

Kevin was born on November 8, 1955, in Owatonna, Minnesota, the son of William Joseph and Beatrice Marie (Hagen) Hahn. He was a lifelong sports fan, and in addition to participating in football and track and field, Kevin also loved wrestling as an athlete, coach, and spectator. He was an avid fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Cubs. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, and a longtime friend of Bill W. Kevin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory are his two children, Noelle (Tim) Wittkop and Danielle (Paul Sayers) Hahn; beloved grandsons, Atlas and Arlo Wittkop; two sisters, Kathleen (Craig) Shankwitz and Kristin (Mark) Borgman; and nieces and nephew, Amelia and Meredith Shankwitz, Angela Borgman, and Andrew Borgman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William “Bill” and Beatrice “Bea” Hahn and sister, Bernadette Hahn.
