Kristin Marie Anderson, 46, of Hiawatha, Iowa, passed away after a sudden illness on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at University Hospitals and Clinic in Iowa City. A Committal Service will be held at a later date.
Kristin was born March 21, 1972, in Waterloo, the daughter of Larry and Carol (Muller) Mitchell. She graduated from Dike High School in 1991 and Mercy/St. Luke’s Radiology Tech School in Cedar Rapids. In 1997, Kristin was united in marriage to Jeremy Anderson. She was employed for many years at Mercy Hospital as a Radiology Tech. Kristin loved spending time with her family, Jim, and her dog, Vivian.
She is survived by her sons, Bradley Anderson and Jared Anderson (Miranda Kress); grandson, Spencer; mother, Carol Mitchell; siblings, Julie Kienol and Scott (Angie) Mitchell; nieces and nephews; fiancé, Jim Shepherd; and her dog, Vivian.
Kristin was preceded in death by her father, Larry in 2011; husband, Jeremy in 2012; and niece, Jordan Sue.
