Kristine G. Stevens

Kristine G. Stevens, 95, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 - 4 p.m. on October 12, 2026, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Inurnment will take place at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, at a later date.

Kristine was born February 1, 1931, in Nemaha, Iowa, to Jessie Auen and Henry Ammonn. She married Glibert J. Stevens on February 11, 1949. Kristine was a proud member of the Sharon United Methodist Church and loved teaching Sunday school. She enjoyed visiting their cabin in Harpers Ferry, going fishing, bowling, and skating (in her younger years), and was also a voracious reader. Above all else, Kristine loved spending time with her beloved family.

Kristine is survived by her sons, Reed (Vicky) Stevens, Barry Stevens, Mark (Kerri) Stevens, and Patrick (Pamela) Stevens; grandchildren, Chrissy, Tawnia, Monica, Aaron, Kyle, David, Jennifer, Christopher, and Hannah; and great-grandchildren, Ani, Braxton, Kian, Ethan, Ashlyn, Collin, Dylan, Harper, and Owen.

Kristine was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Gilbert Stevens.
