Larry John Wilson

Larry John Wilson, 64, of Center Point, passed away quietly on Saturday, October 22, 2005. A memorial gathering will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2005, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include five children, Trudy (Steve) Stenersen of Marion, Elizabeth Wilson (Steve) of Nevada City, California, Dawn (Dave) Hensch of Center Point, Rhonda Wilson-Sellers of Maple Plain, Minnesota, and Larry Wilson of Cedar Rapids; the children?s mother, Patricia of Center Point; eleven grandchildren, David, Madeline and Abbey Stenersen, Katie and Jack Wilson Maher, Casey and Kyle Wilson, Cameron Hensch, and Alex, Tommy and Evan Sellers; five brothers, Ed, Claire, Dick, Don and Dean Wilson; and two sisters, Louise Franks and Carol Peyton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Andy, Steve and Blaine; and three sisters, Betty, Irene and Cora.
Larry was born April 24, 1941, the son of Edward and Cassandra Wilson in Manchester, Iowa. On April 28, 1962, he married Patricia Ann Goodwin. Larry was a U.S. Navy veteran. He had been employed at Quaker Oats and later at Harnischfeger.
