Lilian Pineda, 55, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, formerly of San Salvador, El Salvador, died Tuesday, December 21, 2021. A visitation will be held from 3 - 4 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Westdale Community Church, 3211 Edgewood Road SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. on Thursday at the church. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family.
Lilian was born December 23, 1965, in San Salvador, El Salvador, the daughter of Mario Pineda and Rosa Palacios Zetino. She was united in marriage to Jose Abel Padilla Palma.
Survivors include her husband, Jose; daughter, Sonia G. Henriquez-Pineda; son, Mauricio Ernesto Campos Pineda; six grandchildren, Sonia Perez, Levi Perez, Emely M. Perez, Stevan Perez, Emma V. Perez, and Ariadna Campos; mother, Rosa Palacios Zetino; and brothers, Mario Adalberto Pineda and Jose Antonio Lopez Zetino.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mario Pineda.
