Linda Lee Shakespeare

Linda Lee Shakespeare, 81, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Private family inurnment will take place at the Linwood Cemetery Mausoleum in Cedar Rapids. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family.

Linda was born February 10, 1945, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of William and Opal (Wilkinson) Lingo. She married Clifton Lee Shakespeare on July 22, 1985, in Cedar Rapids. Linda was a whimsical collector.

Survivors include her children, Mark (Shawna) Sailor of Hazleton, Iowa, and Chris Sailor of Cedar Rapids; and her grandson, Zach Sailor of Hazleton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Opal Lingo; her husband, Clifton Shakespeare; and her brothers, Hubert, Walter, Andrew, and Billy Lingo.
