Lloyd Ulysses Simpson Robinson, II, 27, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, March 17, 2007, in St. Luke?s Hospital, following a short illness. Services: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2007, at Northbrook Baptist Church, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. Eric Schumacher. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the church. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his parents, Lloyd and Ruth Robinson, Sr. of Hiawatha; his fianc?, Sarah Regan; his children, Cortez and Jaidyn; a sister, Faith and husband, Reagen Thomas of Cedar Rapids, two brothers, Aaron Matthew and Phineas Eugene; his maternal grandmother, Benita Price of Cedar Rapids; and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Price; and his paternal grandparents, Ruth and Eugene Robinson.
Lloyd was born August 13, 1979, the son of Lloyd and Ruth (Price) Robinson, Sr., in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Lloyd.
