Logan Martin Ruffridge, 34, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Born on August 29, 1991, in Cedar Rapids, Logan brought joy and energy to everyone he met from the very beginning. As the beloved son of Torry and Anne Ruffridge, he grew up in the heart of his hometown, embracing life with a spirit that was as vibrant as it was kind.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. May his spirit continue to ride free, forever in our hearts.

Logan was a proud graduate of Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids, where he formed lifelong friendships and discovered his passion for community and sports. He went on to attend Wartburg College, where he loved playing football and made many friends. Though his professional path took him through various endeavors, Logan's true calling shined brightest in his personal life and hobbies. He was an avid member of the CR BMX community and played on several softball teams, including the 12", 14", and 16" leagues, where his enthusiasm and teamwork made him a cherished teammate and friend. Logan loved nothing more than playing softball for Westside Bar and Kickstand. Whether racing on his bike, playing volleyball, softball, or simply hanging out in the garage sharing laughs with those around him, Logan lived with an energy for life that inspired all who knew him.

On October 30, 2021, in Traer, Iowa, Logan married the love of his life, Amanda Ruffridge, in a celebration that reflected the deep bond they shared. Together, they built a beautiful family, first came their fur baby Koda in 2017, then they welcomed their son, Cooper Ruffridge in 2022, who was the light of Logan's world. As a husband and father, Logan was devoted, protective, and endlessly affectionate, creating memories that will forever comfort those he left behind.

Logan's legacy is carried on by his loving wife, Amanda Ruffridge; his adored son, Cooper Ruffridge; his parents, Torry and Anne Ruffridge; his sisters, Whitney (Blake) Colton and Savanah (Travis) LaKose; his brothers, Jake (Brook) Ives, Tyler (Bree) Evans, Joe (Chrystal) Michalec, and Pinky (Kendall) Baker; his brothers-in-law, Joe Hoeg and Chris Hoeg; his in-laws, Edward and Brenda Hoeg; his nieces, Lainey LaKose and Tatum Colton; his nephews, Carter LaKose, Keegan LaKose, and Elliott Colton; his grandmothers, Myrna McKee and Myrna Dostal; and his second mom, Amy Kriz. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and his extended softball family, all of whom held a special place in his generous heart.

Logan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Stanley McKee; grandparents, Orville (Dottie) Ruffridge; Michael Kriz; TJ Evans; Denny Vorba; and Debbie McKee.

In Logan's memory, we remember a man who faced life's challenges with unwavering strength and grace, always putting others first. His laughter, loyalty, and love will echo in the lives he touched.
