Lorraine B. Edwards, 72, a resident of the Penn Center, Delhi, Iowa, died Friday morning, October 31, 2003, at St. Luke?s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, following a short illness.
Funeral services: Monday, November 3, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Manchester with Rev. David C. Weber officiating. Friends may call from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2003 at the funeral home. Burial: Oakland Cemetery, Manchester.
Lorraine was born on September 28, 1931, in Wyoming, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Martha (Hamer) Edwards. She was a homemaker. Lorraine?s hobbies included collecting dolls and flower gardening. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and especially loved the little ones.
Lorraine is survived by five brothers, Donald Edwards & Arnold Edwards of Zwingle, IA, Norman Edwards of Baldwin, IA, Lloyd Edwards and wife Georgia and Claude Edwards and wife Rhonda, both of Manchester, IA; two sisters, Mavis Koontz and husband William of Maquoketa, IA and Evelyn Ellison and husband James of Manchester, IA; and many nieces and nephews.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents.
