Luka Louise Kell, was born quietly on August 3, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. A Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 6, 2010, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, with Rev. Phil Thompson officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Luka is the daughter of Curtis & Maria Kell and little sister of Laura and Laina Kell, all of Cedar Rapids. Her grandparents are Joe & Mary Gross of Donahue, Iowa, and Bill & Sharon Kell of Monticello, Iowa. Her great-grandmother is Aquinata Gross of Earling, Iowa. Her aunt and uncles are Gregory Gross of Des Moines and Brenda & Tracy Burge of Belgium.
Luka joins her heavenly grandparents, Emil Gross, Frank & Isabel Miller, William & Clarice Kell and Fred & Louise Reck; and her aunt, Laura Gross.
