Mabel Schleusener (Fenlon)

Mabel Grace Schleusener, 88, of Alburnett, died Tuesday, February 13, 2007, at her home, following a long illness. Services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2007, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion by Rev. Burr Bryant. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her son, Larry Martin and wife Mary Lou and Loren Martin and wife Shirley, all of Alburnett; a sister, Zella Mae Bebee and husband Dale of Lee?s Summitt, Missouri; eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Hilda Martin of Alburnett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; a son, Lanny; a daughter, Anna Mae; and a great-grandson, Tanner.
Mabel was born August 8, 1918, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of George and Zella (Gerrans) Fenlon. On November 11, 1934, she married Calvin O. Martin in Morrison, Illinois. They farmed for many years in the Alburnett area. He died November 4, 1963. She married Otto J. Schleusener January 18, 1975, in Mallard, Iowa. He died June 10, 1997.
