Mae M. Mcatee

Mae M. McAtee, 80, of 3205 Coggon Road, Troy Mills, died Monday, April 17, 2006, in St. Luke?s Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Graveside Services will be held May 18th at 11:00 a.m. at Troy Mills Cemetery. Per Mae?s request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include two sons, Phillip (Jennie) McAtee of Quasqueton and Donnie (Deb) McAtee of Troy Mills; three daughters, Wanda (Jim) Eliopulos of Pine Cliff, Colorado, Rae Galli of Troy Mills and Patricia (David) Miller of Shellsburg; three sisters, Joyce Morris and Faye Newman both of Marion and Ruth Kline of Brownsville, Texas; and special neighbor, Kyle Rawson.
Also surviving are ten grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers and a sister. Mae was born the daughter of Charles F. and Emma Pickering Beitz on June 10, 1925, in Alburnett. On "April 26, 1943, she was united in marriage to Donald R. "Pete? McAtee in Marion. He died March 16, 1993. Mae was a homemaker.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Mae?s memory.
