Magestic "Magic" L. Huggins

Magestic "Magic? L. Huggins, 20, of 278 15th Street NW, Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, November 3, 2005, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, following a sudden illness. Services: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2005, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. William Harnish. Family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2005, at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include her mother, Kathy (Kevin Willman) Willis of Cedar Rapids; her father, Alan Willis of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Michelle Huggins and Nikki Willis, both of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Stephan Welsh of Davenport and Shawn Willis of Cedar Rapids.

Also surviving are her grandparents, Chuck and Pat Welsh of Cedar Rapids; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends, as well as her dog, Vicious.

Magic was born September 22, 1985, in Jacksonville, Florida. A graduate of Jefferson High School, she had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Cottage Grove Place and Heritage Acres. Magic was full of life and a great hearted person. She was athletic and enjoyed the outdoors and being active.

Instead of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in memory of Magic.
