Marcella Moore (Beaman)

Marcella Moore, 91, a resident of Living Center West Care Center in Cedar Rapids, formerly of Marion, died there Wednesday, February 14, 2007, following a short illness. Per Marcella?s wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Surviving are three nieces, Bernadine Bruner of Crawfordsville, Indiana, Anita (Roger) Ennen of Milford, Illinois, and Marilyn (Bob) Jorgenson of Milford, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Sharon, who died in 1966; three brothers; and a sister.
Marcella was born January 10, 1916, the daughter of Zalie and Bertha Mae (Hunsicker) Beaman in Crawfordsville, Indiana. She married Rev. Charles Moore January 10, 1933, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He died June 11, 1987. Marcella worked at First National Bank in Marion for twenty years and volunteered for many years at St. Luke?s Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
