Marcella Mary Huff, 86, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, September 15, 2011, from a massive brain hemorrhage. Services: 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2011, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids by Rev. Ivan Nienhaus. A rosary will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids followed by visitation from 2:30 -5 p.m. Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery in Keystone.
Survivors include two sons, Brad (Audrey) of Marion and Dean (Pam) of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren, John, Jamie (Tricia) Huff, Chad (Dawn) Huff, Jennifer (Brad) Gillen, and Sloane Huff; three step-grandchildren, Debbie (Tim) Weber, Carrie (Seth) Browning, and Michelle (Josh) Lawless; ten great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Eileen Bevins of Van Horne and Betty (Joe) Elsner of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence M.; a sister, Delores Russell; brothers-in-law, Tom Bevins and Lloyd Russell; and a daughter-in-law, Rexana Huff.
Marcella was born November 26, 1924, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Zenisek) Dvorsky near Solon. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Marcella worked for O’Neil Enterprises at Hawkeye Downs for twenty-four years.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Marcella.
