Margaret Marie Thomas Tennyson, 91, formerly of Springville, died Sunday, April 20, 2008, at the Nathan Adelson Hospice House, Las Vegas, Nevada. Graveside Service: 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2008, at Springville Cemetery by Rev. Karen Downey Beals. The family will greet friends from 9:30 ?" 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion.
Survivors include Margean Benstead of Las Vegas, Butch Farrington of Newberry Springs, California, Nellie Farrington of Las Vegas, and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands, Floyd Thomas of Martelle and Oscar Tennyson of Springville; her two brothers, Fred and Ivan.
Margaret was born October 22, 1916, the daughter of Mike and Amelia (Voigt) Larsen, in Springville, Iowa. She was a life long resident of Springville and moved to Las Vegas in June, 2007, to live with her family. Margaret loved people and the outdoors. She served the Presbyterian Church her entire life. Margaret was a very giving person and well loved.
