Margery D. Mysak, 83, of Central City, died Thursday, August 23, 2007, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy following a long illness. Memorial Service: 2:30 p.m., Saturday, August 25, 2007, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion by Father Wayne Droessler. The family will greet friends from 1:30 until service time on Saturday. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date at Mt. Clark Cemetery in Central City.
Survivors include a son, Richard (Sylvia) Mysak of Cedar Rapids; a granddaughter, Nicole Mysak of Coralville, and a twin sister, Margaret (Leroy) Holub of Central City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Mysak, who died in 1995; her parents and several siblings.
Margery was born August 30, 1923, the daughter of Brinard and Emma (Lawrence) Edgerly. She graduated from Central City High School in 1941. Margery was a hairdresser for over 60 years in the Central City area.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Central City Historical Society in Margery’s memory.
