Marguerite K. (Hagerman) Bills, 87, a resident of ManorCare Health Services, formerly of Hiawatha, died there Friday, July 30, 2004, following an extended illness. Services: 2:30 p.m. Monday, August 2, 2004, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial: Dunkard Cemetery in Toddville, Iowa.
Survivors include three daughters, Janice Dales and husband Jon of Center Point, Carol Camenisch and husband Bob of Marion and Debbie Hoppe and husband Henry of Hiawatha; a son, Lonnie Hagerman Sr. and girlfriend/special friend to Marguerite, Debbie Pickart of Hiawatha; six grandchildren, Tammy (Joe) Scott, Brian (Angie) Camenisch, Brad (Gina) Kysilka, Karla (Shean) Dippel, Lonnie Hagerman Jr., and Kristina Hoppe; and eight great-grandchildren, Corey and Bobbi Jo Scott, Branden and Justin Camenisch, Ashley Hoppe, Dakota and Isabella Dippel and Katie Hagerman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Roy and Elzo; a son, Jerry; five brothers; and five sisters.
Marguerite was born March 25, 1917, the daughter of John and Bertha (Knight) Moore in Kearney, Nebraska. On December 31, 1938, she married Roy Hagerman. He died January 13, 1976. She later married Elzo Bills. He died in January of 1990. Marguerite worked at a shirt factory in Kearney, Nebraska and later worked at Dickie?s Cleaners. She was also an Avon representative for a few years. Marguerite was a member of Twin Pines Baptist Church and American Legion No. 298 Auxiliary. She loved to dance. Marguerite was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
