Marjorie Anne Ramsey

Marjorie Anne Ramsey, 75, of Solon, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at her home. There will be no services held at this time. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.

Marjorie was born on born on December 26, 1950, the daughter of Ralph Greazel and Mildred (Murphy) Floyd. She was a 1970 graduate of Jefferson High School. Marjorie was united in marriage to Victor Ramsey, who later passed away in 2017.

Marjorie worked as a laborer at Amanda Refrigeration for many years, until her retirement. She was known for her gentle spirit and deep affection for animals, particularly dogs and cats. Marjorie enjoyed reading the newspaper to stay informed and connected to the world around her. Additionally, she enjoyed taking trips to the Riverside Casino. Marjorie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Marjorie is survived and lovingly remembered by her two sisters, Carol (Ray) Hartl of Marion, and Kathy (Michael) Moel of Solon; brother-in-law, Brant Lucas; and six nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Victor Ramsey; and two sisters, Bonnie Lucas and Denise Greazel.
