Mark “Oz” Miller, 62, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, January 20, 2012, at St. Luke’s Hospital. Memorial Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. Del Bear.
Survivors include his spouse, Dixie Johnson; four children, Don Trenary, Mick Miller, both of Cedar Rapids, Rob (Mikey) of Phoenix, Arizona, and Devin (Laura) of Ankeny, two stepchildren, Justin (Shannon) Rouse and Brandis (Josh) Wieditz-Jarr, both of Cedar Rapids; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Lance (Sammi) Miller of Florida; and sister, Candy (Dean) Herzmann of Manchester.
Oz was preceded in death by his parents; and grandson, Donald “Pocko” Trenary.
Oz was born December 31, 1949, the son of Delmar and Bretta (Muller) Miller in Manchester, Iowa. He attended Manchester High School. Oz was a truck driver all his life and most recently with Iowa Distribution Service.
A member of District 5 ABATE motorcycle riding organization, Oz enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching TV, floating in his pool and especially loved all of his grandchildren.
