Mary Lou (Wrage, McGee) Demmer, 77, of Manchester, died Thursday, December 06, 2012 at the Edgewood Convalescent Home following a brief illness.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 10, 2012 at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Manchester. Visitation will be 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Sunday, December 9 at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home.
Mary Lou was born August 12, 1935 in Waterloo, the daughter of Clarence and Vera Belle (Jackson) Wedeking.
Mary Lou gave of herself, working as a nanny, and raising her nine children. She enjoyed playing on the computer and keeping in touch with everyone thru facebook and e-mails.
Mary Lou is survived by her nine children, Debra (Mike) Ott and Jenifer (Steve) Novak both of Delhi, Pam Christensen of Sioux Falls, SD, Mike (Darlene) Wrage of Mentor, OH, Patty (Jim) Cresap of Shell Rock, Terry (Jodi) McGee of Ankeny, Joel (Nancy) McGee of Salt Lake City, UT, Kelly (Cliff) Ackerman of Mesa, AZ, and Kolin (Faith) McGee of Tipton; nineteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ron (Sharon) Wedeking of Cedar Falls.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law, Steve Christiensen.
