Mary Ann Marie Calef (Fuller)

Mary Ann Marie Calef, 67, of 4133 22nd Avenue SW, Cedar Rapids, died Monday, December 22, 2008, in her home, following a brief illness. Services: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2008, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Del Bear. The family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2008, at the funeral home. Inurnment: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion, at a later date.
Survivors include her children, Barnie Calef of Palo, Eric (Michelle) Calef, Raymond (Kim) Calef, Robin Prior Calef and Mike (Chris) Calef, all of Cedar Rapids; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Ray (Jeanne) Fuller of Marion; and many loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Jason; and three brothers, William Travis, Glenn Travis and Roy Fuller.
Mary Ann was born March 20, 1941, the daughter of Raymond and Wilma (Goodin) Fuller, in Viola, Iowa. A homemaker, she was married to William Calef. Mary Ann will always be remembered for her loving and caring ways. She will also be remembered as a great cook and interior decorator. She was the ultimate in transforming houses which needed tender loving care into gorgeous homes. Her drive and determination aided her in life in everything she attempted. Her greatest wish, and accomplishment, was to see her family grow to be successful in every facet. Thanks for everything mom, we will always loveyou.
