Maverick John Healey, 6 months old, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Family will greet friends from 1 - 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion, Iowa. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at the funeral home.
Maverick was born on December 16, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Leeanna Lynn Lamas and Brendan Charles Healey. Maverick will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Maverick is survived and lovingly remembered by his parents, Leeanna and Brendan; maternal grandmother, Joette L. Pierce of Marion; paternal grandparents, Candy L. Hoag of Dubuque, Iowa and John L. Healey of Decorah, Iowa; maternal great-grandparents, Debbie Pierce of Marion and Ray (Arielle) Pierce of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and paternal great grandparents, Nancy Hoag of Dubuque and Ron (Jean Steffen) Healey of Dubuque.
