Maxine Wagner (Bliss)

Maxine Wagner, 91, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, April 2, 2010, at the Winslow Care Center, Marion. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Carroll Brown. Family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2010, at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, David (Karolyn) Wagner and Donna (David) Walderbach; four grandchildren, Jennifer Clark, Matthew Wagner, Michael Wagner and Raymond (Dawn) Turano; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Lorraine Prastka.
Maxine was born January 17, 1919, the daughter of Allen and Martha (Fleming) Bliss, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. On August 27, 1941, she was united in marriage to Donald “Red” Wagner. He died February 15, 1998.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Maxine.
