Mildred Marie Peters, 82, of Forsyth, Missouri, formerly of Urbana, died Tuesday, December 20, 2005, at the Forsyth Nursing and Rehab Center, following a short illness. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2005, at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, Urbana, by Father Gabriel Anderson. The family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2005, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point. Burial: St. Mary?s Cemetery, Urbana.
Survivors include her husband, Leo of Forsyth, Missouri; her children, Michael Peters of Lincoln, Nebraska, Gregory Peters of Rochester, Minnesota, Debra Johnson of Shakopee, Minnesota, and Patricia Karas of Fort Worth, Texas; two brothers, Robert Smith and Junior Smith; and a sister, Madonna Roseberry.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Donald Smith and Paul Smith; and sisters, Catherine Smith, Bernadine Hepker and Rossana Takes.
Mildred was born June 23, 1923, the daughter of John and Christina (Kramer) Smith in Urbana, Iowa. Mildred and Leo celebrated 55 years of marriage and had lived in Minnesota while raising their children. Millie was a member of the Our Lady Of The Ozarks Catholic Church in Forsyth.
