Mitchell Zolla, 79, of Des Plaines, Illinois died Friday, January 7, 2005, in Willow Gardens Care Center in Marion, Iowa. Private graveside services will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois. Arrangements by Tower Home for Funerals, Lyons, Illinois, and Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, Iowa.
Mitchell was born July 12, 1925, the son of William and Antonie Sacala Zolla in Chicago. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was wounded in Italy on April 23, 1945.
Survivors include two nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and two sisters.
