She was preceded in death by her parents.
Nancy was born June 1, 1938, the daughter of Claire and Opal (Robertson) Meyer, in Grinnell, Iowa. For 30 years, Nancy worked in the accounting department at Wilson’s Meat Processing Plant and then worked for Von Maur where she sold clothes in the Women’s clothing department. On March 19, 1982, she was united in marriage to Gar Ruprecht in Las Vegas, Nevada.
A people person, Nancy enjoyed visiting with everyone she met, as she never met a stranger. She enjoyed dining out, traveling, and as a diehard Cub fan, loved watching the Cub’s game and golf on TV. Nancy also enjoyed getting together and socializing at monthly luncheons with her friends. Nancy and Gar did many activities together, rarely would you see them apart.
