Naomi L. Garvin, 90, of Manchester, died Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids from heart failure.
Private family graveside inurnment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Waterloo, Iowa. Arrangements are by Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester.
Naomi Loraine Bulson Garvin was born August 22, 1916 in Grand Rapids, Wisconsin, the daughter of Alfred and Eva (Ash) Bulson. On October 10, 1936, Naomi was united in marriage to Dean Hawver Garvin at the Burton Ave. Baptist Church in Waterloo, Iowa. Dean died on May 11, 1979.
Naomi was a past-member of the United Methodist Church and P.E.O. Chapter BP of Casa Grande, Arizona and was currently a member of the First Baptist Church in Waterloo.
Naomi is survived by four children, Karen (Don) Williams of Delhi, David (Karen) Garvin of Valley Center, CA, Douglas (Emily) Garvin of Dumont and Wayne (Jenny) Garvin of Manchester; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred & Eva Bulson; and her husband, Dean H. Garvin.
