Nida is survived by her daughter, Janet (Grayden) Grimm of Farley; a son, David (Barb) Reth of Delhi, 5 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Marilyn Overman of Bettendorf; 4 step-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Nida was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alton; 2 daughters, Ellene Lois on August 31, 1955 and Joan Lorraine on October 14, 1944; and five brothers and sisters.
The family would like to thank the staff at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque; Mercy Hospital, Dyersville; and Hospice of Dubuque for their compassionate care for Nida.
A memorial fund has been established in Nida's memory.
