Norine Frances Pedersen, 74, of Springville, died Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at St. Luke?s Hospital in Cedar Rapids following a long illness.
Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2005, St. Isidore Catholic Church, Springville by Fr. David Ambrosy. Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Friday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion with vigil service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Burial: Springville Cemetery, Springville.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Stanley Pedersen; three children, Anne Pedersen of Springville, David (Jacinda) Pedersen of Iowa City and James Pedersen of Springville; a brother, Eugene (Donna) Wagner of Loves Park, IL; two sisters, Catherine Dennis of North English and JoEllen (Lee) Carder of Mission, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Norine was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold & Gertrude Wagner.
Norine was born January 5, 1931 in Keswick, Iowa the daughter of Arnold & Gertrude (Faas) Wagner. She graduated from Keswick High School in Keswick. Norine moved to Cedar Rapids where she worked for a short time at Merchants National Bank. On September 21, 1959, Norine was united in marriage to Stanley C. Pedersen at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. She was a member of St. Isadore?s Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Norine?s memory.
