Patricia "Pat" Mann

Patricia “Pat” Mann, 80, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Thursday, June 19, 2025. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids assisted the family.

Pat was born on November 22, 1944, in Mason City, Iowa, to Dick and Iva (Scholl) McKinney. On February 6, 1965, she married the love of her life of 60 years, Edward William “Bill” Mann, in Cedar Rapids. For more than 25 years, Pat worked for the Cedar Rapids Community School District, primarily at Jackson Middle School and Hoover Elementary. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and VFW Post 788 Auxiliary. Pat enjoyed cooking big meals for her entire family, taking trips to the casino, and fishing with friends. A loyal Hawkeye fan through and through, she also enjoyed collecting the artwork of P. Buckley Moss. More than anything, Pat was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Mann; children, Shelly Cassill and Angie (Kent) Possehl; grandchildren, Joshua (Amelia) Cassill, Jeremy (Crystal) Cassill, Paige Possehl, and Spencer Possehl; great-grandchildren, Elle Cassill, Carson Cassill, and Reese; siblings, Richard (Cheryl) McKinney, Donald (Pam) McKinney, and Tom (Linda) McKinney; sister-in-law, Sue (Jim) Schultz; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Iva McKinney; sister, Barb Hayes; sister, Linda McKinney; and parents-in-law, Ed and Esther Mann.
