Paul Joseph Vicker, 46, of Viola, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at his home, following a brief illness. Graveside Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at Bear Creek Cemetery, rural Brandon, with military rites. The family will greet friends after the graveside service at Paul & Elizabeth?s home, 3184 John St. in Viola. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth of Viola; four children, Barbara (Jeff) Cartmell of Palm Springs, California, Dennis (Denise) Wilmoth of Houston, Texas, John Christopher Muro (Amber Baxter) of New Albany, Indiana and Michael Muro of Houston, Texas (Dannel Osthoff of Cedar Rapids); his mother, Lou Blaxham of Manchester; a daughter-in-law, Jetal Womack of East Moline, Illinois; a brother, Brian Bolsinger of Springville; a sister, Michelle Rogers of Vinton; and fourteen grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Rodney E. Bolsinger.

Paul was born April 11, 1960, the son of Howard Bolsinger and Lou (Pinter) Blaxham in Manchester. He graduated from East Des Moines High School and attended Drake College and Kirkwood Community College. Paul served with the U.S. Navy with the Navy Seals from 1977-1980. On June 8, 1997, he married Frances Elizabeth Landon in Vernal, Utah. Paul enjoyed fishing, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
