Phoenix James Hernden, 6 weeks, of Cedar Rapids, died unexpectedly at home on Sunday, December 7, 2014. Service: 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2014, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Phoenix was born October 29, 2014, the son of Chereese Hernden-Moore. He is survived by his mother; big brother, Seth; grandparents, James, Jr., and Judi Hernden of Cedar Rapids; and many other friends and family that loved baby Phoenix.
He loved watching the Ice Age movie, looking at Christmas lights and watching his brother play video games.
