Rachel L. O'Deen, 86, formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Monday, April 30, 2007, at the Broken Arrow Nursing Home, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, following a short illness. Services: 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2007, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. Del Bear. Burial in Blairstown, Iowa.
Survivors include a son, Jim O'Deen and wife Sherry of Bixby, Oklahoma; and a daughter, Donna Pederson of Portland, Oregon.
She was preceded in death by per parents; two husbands, Donald Pederson and Bill O'Deen; a brother, Harold Plagmann; and a sister, Dorothy Rodrigues.
Rachel was born July 30, 1920, in Marengo, Iowa, to Gustave and Mary Louise Hursch Plagmann. She moved to Cedar Rapids in 1948 and was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
