Randy Kent Coe, 58, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, August 7, 2011. Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2011, at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, by Pastor Rick Gail. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2011, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include a son, Todd Coe; stepdaughter, Hope; three grandchildren, Erica Kate, Keely and Braiden; numerous stepgrandchildren; his niece, aunts, uncles and friends; and Deanna Ortberg and Lindy Coe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Shirley Coe; a son, Nathan Samuel Russell Coe; sister, Teddi A. Coe.
Randy was born October 29, 1952, in Oskaloosa, Iowa. A great musician, he enjoyed life, people and loved making music.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Randy.
