Rebecca S. Frazier, 75, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026, at home. In agreement with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Pinicon Ridge Park, Woodpecker Lodge, in Central City, Iowa.
Rebecca was born on April 4, 1951, the daughter of Glen Richard and Joyce Ann (Truesdell) Whiting. A 1969 graduate of Kennedy High School, she went on to attend the University of Northern Iowa. She later married Merl Frazier at St. John’s Church in Cedar Rapids; their marriage later ended in divorce. Rebecca worked at Mercy Medical Center until her retirement in 2018. Outside of work, she found joy in sewing, trivia game nights, Scrabble, spending time with friends, and helping anyone in need. Rebecca was deeply cherished and will always be remembered for her great sense of humor and for loving her family 100%. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
