Regina "Jean? Ann Mahnke, 61, of 3333 Pioneer Avenue SE, Cedar Rapids, passed away July 28, 2004, in her sleep after a short illness. Services: 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 4, 2004, at Word of Faith, 2325 16th Avenue SW, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, John; two daughters, Regina Marie Hoppenworth and husband Jay and Rebecca Eileen Brawner, three sons, John Arthur Mahnke, James Patrick Mahnke and wife CeCe, and Joseph Lee Mahnke, all of Cedar Rapids; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother Jerry Robertson; and a sister Iola Jones, both of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; one sister; and one grandchild.
Regina was born December 16, 1942, the daughter of Arthur and Estell (Dudie) Robertson, in Cedar Rapids. On January 15, 1961, she married John Earl Mahnke in Marion. Regina was a grandma to any child she met and was loved by all.
A memorial fund has been established in Regina?s memory.
