Reiko Floyd

Reiko Floyd, 96, of West Branch, Iowa, died Friday, August 28, 2026, at her home. Visitation: 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 520 Wilson Avenue SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Burial will take place at a later date at Rock Island National Cemetery.

Reiko was born December 16, 1929, in Kagoshima-ken, Japan, the daughter of Kazue and Kikue Azuma. She married Glenn LeRoy Floyd on November 4, 1959, in Fukuoka, Japan. Reiko was very talented at crocheting, making doilies, tablecloths, and dollhouse accessories.

Survivors include her stepdaughter, Sharon (Mark) Hightower; two grandchildren, Angel Hightower (Darold Sisco) and Mark Hightower Jr.; and three great-grandchildren, Katherine Reid, Jared Hightower, and Saraya Clarkson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn LeRoy Floyd; and her siblings.
