Richard John Maske, 80, of Marion, died Tuesday, May 4, 2010, in his home. Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Marion. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by: Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion.
Richard is survived by his wife, Marlys; two sons, John (Linda) Maske and Mark Maske; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harvey (Ramona) Maske.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Ida Mae Maske; a great-grandchild, Jasmine; two brothers; and one sister.
Richard was an Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He worked as a machinist at Rockwell Collins for 38 years.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Richard’s name.
