Robert Andre Sallis, 62, from White Bear Lake, Minnesota, formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died at his home on July 6, 2021. A celebration of life will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids.
Robert was a beloved brother, father, grandfather, and uncle and will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Diana Sallis; his father, John “Red” Sallis; his sister, Renee Sallis; and three sons, Corey Sallis, Daniel Sallis, and Christopher “Rashad” Cross.
He is survived by his brothers, Christopher Sallis, Maurice Sallis, and Michael Sallis; his children, Robert Jones, Demont Bowie, Roberto, Andre Sallis, Alyssa Sallis, Zechariah De La Vergne, Courtney Sallis, Anthony Richmond, Tariq Blue, and Jimmy Dean; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.
