Robin Kay Williams

Robin Williams, 63, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026, at Terrace Glen Village. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion.

Robin was born on January 5, 1963, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Darwin and Mardell (Mason) Kohl. She was a graduate of Linn-Mar High School and went on to attend Kirkwood Community College. On April 5, 1991, Robin was united in marriage to Lesley “Les” Williams. She worked as a receptionist at Skogman Real Estate and then Vector Corp for more than 20 years. Most recently, she enjoyed working as a bus attendant for the Linn-Mar Community School District. Robin cherished spending time with her family and friends, taking trips to the casino, and riding motorcycles with Les. Robin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Robin is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Teisha (Patrick) Heft of Toddville, and Michelle (Bryce) Wessels of Manchester; grandchildren, Austin Heft, Abbigail (Collin) Costello, Alicia Heft, and Aspen DeVary; great-granddaughter, Hazel Costello; mother, Mardell Kohl of Marion; sister-in-law, Holly Kohl of Marion; and nephew, D.J. Kohl of Marion.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lesley; father, Darwin Kohl; and brother, Chip Kohl.
