Rollie Frozene, 73, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at his home. Services: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Cedar Rapids by Rev. Bill Harnish. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include two sisters, Freda Kearney of Cedar Rapids and Phyllis Freilinger of Waterloo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Adeline Carroll and Annabelle Swick; and a brother, Harold Frozene.
Rollie was born January 14, 1939, the son of Emil and Elizabeth (Matthews) Frozene in Coloma, Wisconsin. Rollie served with the US Army from 1961-1967. He worked and Penick and Ford as a operator, retiring in 1978.
