Ronald L. Buckley, 20, of 108 24th Street NE, died Saturday, September 28, 2002, in St. Luke?s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following short illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2002, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. Lonnie Jordan III. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2002, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include a son, KeiRon; his mother and stepfather, Wanda and Ronald Tucker of Cedar Rapids; his father, Ronald Sago of Cedar Rapids; three sisters, Erin Doolin,
LaVell Doolin and TaVanna Davis; a brother, ZiRon Levi, all of Cedar Rapids; his paternal grandmother, Fay Sago of Chicago, Illinois; maternal great-grandmother, Nina Kibble of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; his fiancé, Monica Bunker; and numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Betty and Eddie Buckley; and two uncles, Eddie Buckley, Jr. and Michael Sago.
Ronald was born March 13, 1982, the son of Ronald Sago and Wanda Buckley in Gary, Indiana. He was a musical producer with the Drop It Off Entertainment Group. Ronald loved to write music, sing, Rap and Flip.
A memorial fund has been established in Ronald?s memory for his son, KeiRon.
