Scott Huffman

Scott Huffman, 82, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Monday, April 13, 2026. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family.

Scott was born on April 7, 1944, in Oregon, Illinois, the son of Glenn and Verda (Himert) Huffman. He served honorably in the United States Navy from 1963 to 1967. Scott owned Reliable Recycling, Inc., for 25 years before retiring in 2020. He enjoyed motorcycles, coin and baseball card collecting. At one time, he had one of the largest collections of Nolan Ryan cards in the world. Scott also enjoyed traveling with his friend John and playing pool.

Survivors include his children, Brooke (Kyle) Lane, Melinda Bagley, and Neel (Dani) Huffman; his grandchildren, Kiara (Zannder) Rocha, Grace Musser and Gram Erickson, Adison Musser and Nate Wood, Jordan (Kendall) Bagley, and Logan (Hailey) Bagley; his great-grandchildren, Pierce Bagley, and Naomi and Charlee Bagley; his sister, Leatha Ebens; and his close and loving friend, Jessica West.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Verda Huffman; his brother, Glenn Huffman Jr.; his nephew, Greg Ebens; a great-nephew; his sister-in-law, Betty Huffman; and his brother-in-law, Don Ebens.
