Sharon Mae Fuhrman

Sharon Mae Fuhrman, 83, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at her home in Springville, Iowa. In agreement with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no services at this time. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family.

Sharon was born on May 5, 1942, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Warren C. and Ruth Brewer. She worked as a home care aide at a nursing home. Sharon loved people, NASCAR racing, being outdoors, animals, and dancing. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sharon is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband, Robert Fuhrman of Duncan, Oklahoma; six children, Rose (Mark) Curry of Statesville, North Carolina, Gene (Robin) Moyle of Concord, North Carolina, Danny Van Nevele of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, David Hewitt of Topeka, Kansas, Roxie (Kenyatta) Hewitt-Smith of Cedar Rapids, and Darren Hewitt(Terry Larson) of Cedar Rapids; seven grandchildren, Anthony, Ryan, Casey, Dustin, Kenesha, Kent, and Roscian; four great-grandchildren, Mars, Lotus, Major, and Sylis; and special friend, Fritz Koch of Springville.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
