Sue Ann Kyle, 58, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, May 4, 2012. Services: 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Bethel AME Church, 512 6th Street SE, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. W. C. Perkins. Arrangements with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her longtime companion, Melvin Brooks of Cedar Rapids; daughter, Angela (Timothy) Babers-Smith of Rock Island, Illinois; many grandchildren; a sister; and two brothers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother,
Sue was born August 30, 1953, in Moline, Illinois. She worked various jobs in the area. Sue enjoyed baking, music, and had a great laugh, but most of all she loved spending time with children and her family.
