Tamara "Tammy" Katherine Fuller

Tamara “Tammy” Katherine Fuller, 63, of Marion, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 12, 2026, surrounded by love. Private Family Services will be held with burial at Oak Shade Cemetery in Marion. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family.

There are some losses that words will never be enough to explain. Losing Tammy is one of them.

Tammy was so much more than a mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend. She was the kind of person who became a piece of your heart. She was the person you could count on, the person who loved you fiercely, and the person who somehow made you feel like you mattered simply by being in her presence.

She had the biggest heart and a love that had no limits. Tammy loved her family with everything she had. Completely and unconditionally. She would do anything for the people she loved, and she never needed a reason to show someone that they mattered. Her kindness was genuine, her heart was enormous, and the love she gave so freely left an impression on more people than she probably ever realized.

If you were lucky enough to be hugged by Tammy, you knew how genuine that hug was. The kind that made you feel truly loved and cared for. And there was always a sparkle in her eyes when she smiled, laughed, or looked at someone she loved. Those hugs and that beautiful sparkle will be missed more than words can say.

She fought a hard battle, and she fought it with a quiet strength and stoicism that was uniquely Tammy. Even through the hardest days, she remained the strong woman her family knew and loved. Her strength was not always loud. Sometimes it was simply getting through another day, loving her family, and continuing to be Tammy.

She leaves behind her husband, Martin Thenhaus; her children, Josh Busenbark, Caitlin Busenbark, Megan (Bryan) Bulman, and Morgan Thenhaus; her grandsons, Kashton and Kyler Bulman; her dad, Ray Fuller; her brothers, Todd and Travis Fuller; and her nieces and nephews.

Tammy was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanne Fuller, and her brother, Troy Fuller.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tammy’s memory may be directed to the family.
